JOIN US FOR Palm Sunday! THIS DAY IS significant for us Christians.  It marks the beginning of the Holy Week leading up to death, burial & resurrection of Christ. It commemorates Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem, as described in the Gospels. According to the Bible, Jesus rode into the city on a donkey, and the crowds greeted Him by waving palm branches and shouting "Hosanna!" which means "Save us!" or "Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord!"

The palms symbolize victory and peace, and they were used by the people to honor Jesus as the Messiah. The event is seen as a fulfillment of the prophecy in Zechariah 9:9, where it is foretold that the Messiah would come humbly, riding on a donkey.
